Local Nature Reserves

Long Melford’s amenities include two Local Nature Reserves and a number of public walks.

The Local Nature Reserves (LNRs) are located at the Long Melford Country Park and the Melford Walk.

Bird Breeding Surveys

Long Melford Country Park

There are a variety of bird boxes throughout the park, specially made from recycled materials. The links below will take you to are bird breeding survey results spanning a number of years, along with birds you might see whilst you are at the Country Park.
